An Open Studio Creative Experience

This is not a formal class. It’s a creative sanctuary.
​
Pause, Breathe, Create is a relaxed, drop-in open studio where you can come as you are and create at your own pace. Whether you haven’t painted in years or you create regularly, this space is designed for freedom, exploration, and renewal.
​
When you arrive, you’ll choose your surface… watercolor paper or a canvas panel in the size that feels right for you. Your session includes access to studio acrylics or watercolors, brushes, scrapers, palette knives, texture tools, and guided QR tutorials to help you explore techniques like layering, pull painting, collage, and stenciling.
​
You can follow a short tutorial, experiment with materials, or simply enjoy the quiet rhythm of creating. I’m here to guide and encourage you, but there’s no pressure and no rigid instruction.
Each session includes:
• Your selected canvas or watercolor paper
• Use of studio paints and tools
• Access to short guided technique videos
• Up to two hours of creative time
• Coffee and water during your visit
• A peaceful, welcoming environment
Optional collage packs and specialty texture materials are available if you’d like to enhance your piece.
This is time carved out just for you.

Do I need experience to attend?
Not at all. This is a welcoming space for beginners and experienced artists alike.
Do I need to make a reservation?
At this time, open studio is drop-in during listed hours.
How long can I stay?
Each session includes up to two hours of creative time. Additional studio time may be added if space allows. The studio closes at 3:00 pm, so we recommend arriving early enough to fully enjoy your creative experience.
What should I bring?
Just yourself. All materials are provided unless you choose the studio-only option.
Can I come with a friend?
Absolutely. Creating together is encouraged.
Can I work on a large piece over multiple visits?
Yes. Return studio sessions are available if you’d like to continue your work.

Is this a class?
Not exactly. This is a relaxed, open studio experience where you create at your own pace with gentle guidance available when you need it.
