About Me

Whydo what do .....

I make art for people who believe their space should be a source of strength, not stress so they can transform their house or workspace into a place they absolutely love to be.

I believe that what you surround yourself with makes a big impact on your well-being. And that's what you'll see in this collection.

I have always wanted to create spaces where people could find peace and renewal in their daily lives. As a mom of seven living in beautiful chaos, I wished that everyone could have a visual escape that brought them joy and tranquility amidst life's overwhelming moments.

I don’t think I was able to  fully understand  this need until we were facing the loss of our youngest son to a war and we then lost another when our oldest son Jacob passed away unexpectedly two and a half years ago. I realized how desperately we all need sources of comfort and hope in our surroundings.

That's when I realized art's true power to heal and transform.

Through organizing art camps for Ukrainian orphans in Poland, I witnessed firsthand how color and creativity could build confidence and create hope even in the darkest times. This journey showed me that art isn't just decoration—it's really a daily need of self-care.

What I've seen since discovering this is that even a single piece can become the calming focal point that brings peace each morning, or a collection that transforms an entire living space into a sanctuary.

My art is guided by Jacob's infectious laugh and zest for life, which I  try weave into every painting.

When you hang my work in your space, my goal is that you feel that same sense of renewal and joy, creating your own daily reminder to live the life you love and celebrate what you're grateful for.

Drawing Inspiration

Living here in the lakeside community of Honeoye, NY, with my wonderful family and our two dogs Oliver and Charlie gives me endless inspiration. As a mom of seven, life is beautifully chaotic. My husband Doug has been amazing through every creative adventure and life challenge.

Two years ago, we faced an unimaginable loss when our oldest son Jacob passed away unexpectedly. His incredible spirit and zest for life continue to fuel my creativity every single day. Jacob had this gift for chasing dreams and lifting others up with his infectious laugh and positive energy—qualities I try to weave into every painting.

The past few years have taken us on an unexpected journey supporting Ukrainian orphans. When the war began, our family committed to helping however we could, leading to multiple trips to Poland where we've organized art camps for these resilient children. These experiences have shown me art's power to heal, build confidence, and create hope even in the darkest times.

My Approach to Art & Color

I feel that day to day life can sometimes be overwhelming…my goal is to create art that serves as your personal escape—transforming spaces into sources of joy, peace, and renewal.

I create pieces designed to shift energy, calm your mind, and awaken joy. Each piece is created with the understanding that color plays a part in directly shifting our emotions—warm hues that give a sense of comfort, cool tones that can soothe and center, to vibrant combinations that energize and inspire.

When you hang my work in your space, you're creating a daily ritual of self-care and a reminder that beauty and tranquility are always within reach.

My Creative Process

You'll find everything from bold paintings on stretched canvas, calming layered textures that bring a sense of peace to intimate works on paper.

I build layers of color and texture in my paintings to create depth and interest. I want you to be able to see something new and different every time you look at one of my creations.

As I paint, I try to keep in mind you waking up each morning feeling peace when you see this painting or returning home after a long day finding comfort in these colors.

Creating Spaces Where You Flourish

Have you ever walked into a room and instantly felt stressed? Have you ever walked into a room and felt instantly relaxed and happy? That's the power of our visual surroundings.

Even a single piece can become the calming focal point of your bedroom and bring you peace each morning. A collection can transform your entire living space into a place you love to escape to. My goal is to help you create spaces where you love to be.

With all the digital noise around us, art offers a return to finding peace within your surroundings and yourself.

My artwork is meant to serve as your daily reminder to live the life you love and celebrate all the things that you have to be grateful for every day.

If this sounds like the experience you want in your home or workspace, I invite you to browse my current work or reach out to discuss a custom piece created just for you.
