Throughout the process, you’ll have a chance to share your ideas, preferences, and inspirations, then I will thoughtfully translates them into color, texture, and form—making sure the finished piece feels deeply personal and uniquely yours. The result is an original work made exclusively for you—an artwork that resonates with your space, your spirit, and your life.

Commissioned paintings are priced at $1.25 per square inch. Below are standard sizes and corresponding prices.

I believe that artwork should feel personal, like a reflection of something only you can imagine. That’s why when I take on a commission, I spend time listening and asking questions so I can fully understand your vision. From there, I spend 1–2 months carefully working through the process — sketching, layering, and refining — until the piece feels complete and ready to share with you.

To begin, I ask for a 20% deposit per piece. This small commitment secures your commission in my schedule and allows me to dedicate the time your piece deserves. The remaining balance is only due once your artwork is finished.

​

Shipping is calculated individually after we’ve finalized the size, the details of your vision, and your location. This way, you’ll know exactly what to expect and can feel confident your piece will arrive safely.

WHAT IS A COMMISSION?

A commission is a custom work of art created specifically for you. Together, we’ll collaborate on size, color palette, and mood to ensure your finished painting feels uniquely personal and perfect for your space

WHAT IS THE JEN ROGERS ART BRIDAL REGISTRY?

It’s a unique way for couples to add original artwork to their wedding wish list. Guests can contribute toward a custom painting or select from an existing piece—making it easy to start a first home together with meaningful art.

CAN COUPLES REGISTER FOR BOTH CUSTOM AND EXISTING ART?

Yes! Couples can choose from a curated selection of existing paintings or commission a custom piece designed just for them.

HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK FOR GUESTS?

Guests can contribute toward the full price of a painting or simply purchase a portion of it—perfect for group gifting.

​

WHAT IF WE DON’T RECEIVE ENOUGH DONATIONS?

If contributions don’t cover the full cost of the chosen artwork, the couple may either pay the difference themselves or apply the collected funds toward a less expensive painting or another available piece.

IS INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AVAILABLE?

At this time, we only ship within the continental United States.

CAN WE SEE EXAMPLES OF PAINTINGS?

Yes — on the registry page you’ll find a collection of paintings that are particularly appealing for first homes. These examples can give couples and guests inspiration for style, size, and color palette.

HOW DOES HOLDING AN EXISTING PIECE WORK?

I can hold an existing painting for up to six months with a 20% deposit. This allows guests time to complete the registry contributions before final payment is due.

IS THERE A DEPOSIT FOR A CUSTOM PAINTING?

Yes — a 20% deposit secures your spot for a custom painting as well. This deposit is fully refundable until the painting is completed.

HOW LONG DOES A CUSTOM COMMISSION TAKE?

Custom commissions typically take 1–2 months to complete, cure, and seal. This timeline ensures the painting arrives fully finished and ready to hang.

CAN YOU SHOW US HOW THE PAINTING WILL LOOK IN OUR SPACE?

Absolutely. I offer virtual mock-ups of how a painting might look in your space. Simply send me a photo of your room, and I’ll add a photo of either the actual painting (if it’s an existing piece) or a similar painting (if it’s a commission) to help you visualize.

WHAT EXTRA SUPPORT DO YOU PROVIDE?

To make the registry experience as easy as possible, I provide:

• Timeline guidance so you know exactly when to set up your registry

• Ready-to-use email templates for announcing your registry

• Social media templates to promote your registry

• A personalized link to your registry page

• A unique QR code that guests can scan for easy access

• Registry templates to include with shower and wedding invitations

HOW DO PEOPLE ACCESS OUR REGISTRY?

Couples can use a third-party wedding registry service (like Zola or The Knot) and link to their Jen Rogers Art page, or they can send guests directly to their registry page hosted on my website.

WHAT TO EXPECT AS A COUPLE

• Browse a selection of existing paintings or plan a custom piece

• Choose the artwork to be added to your registry

• Receive contributions from guests toward all or part of your painting

• Decide how to proceed if full funding isn’t reached—either pay the difference or select a different piece

• If commissioning a new piece, collaborate with Jen to finalize size and color palette within her signature style

• Enjoy a virtual mock-up of your chosen painting in your space
